The short version

That relationship never determines what we write. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable review, and we describe a product's real limitations even where we have a commercial relationship with it.
Which pages carry affiliate links
This site is deliberately built in two layers, and only one of them earns anything:
- Investigation pages carry no affiliate links at all. These explain a topic, a pricing model, or a pattern. Nothing on them pays us.
- Review pages, one click deeper, are where affiliate links live. Every page that carries one says so on the page itself, not only here.
What we don't do
- We don't invent statistics, ratings, or review counts.
- We don't repeat a vendor's unverifiable marketing claim as though it were fact — where we cite one, we say whose claim it is.
- We don't write a favourable conclusion because a product pays better. Where we found a product overstates itself, the page says so.
- We don't sell your data. See the privacy policy.
What we're not
We're not a licensed insurance agency, a registered investment adviser, or a medical provider. Nothing here is personalised insurance, financial, investment, legal, or medical advice. Confirm details with a qualified, licensed professional before acting on anything you read on this site.
